Joii Pet Care launches flea and tick subscription
Veterinary care app Joii Pet Care which offers digital calls with RCVS-registered vets and nurses, has launched a flea and tick subscription service in response to continued demand.
Joii Pet Care now has more than 325,000 pets registered across its platform. As the rising numbers of pet owners seeking preventative vet care continues, the veterinary firm has launched its own subscription model with free delivery. Worming treatment is also available for both cats and dogs.
Matt Elcock, Chief Operating Officer at Vet-AI, the firm behind Joii Pet Care, said: “The long term welfare of pets is reliant upon keeping them in good health throughout their life. Owners are far more attuned to a subscription model and springtime is a timely reminder that it’s good practice to be ahead of flea, tick and worming medication.
“This hassle-free approach will benefit pets across the country, as well as their owners who are looking for affordable and convenient options to care for their furry friends. We recognise the subscription service is a busy marketplace and feel that offering more options for customers can only be a positive step towards improving cat and dog health.”
A 10% charity donation will also be made to Helpful Hounds Assistance Dogs from flea and tick subscriptions. Joii Pet Care’s exterior mailbag is 100% compostable and will disintegrate in 12 weeks.
Subscriptions can be managed in the app and are available for both dogs and cats. An incentive offer of £1 for new flea and tick subscriptions is available until the end of April 2023, which pet owners can claim by downloading the Joii Pet Care app.
